BP Custom Manufacturing, Inc. is what resulted when Paul Beavers and Bill Kapeles decided to reach for what they really wanted in life. Both were working long, tough hours as tire store managers and were basically hating life. After work one evening, they sat down for a cold beer together and talked about what they would do if they did not have to earn a living. Their answers were basically the same: "I'd like to own a little gunsmithing shop and be able to do something I love and spend more time with my family." BP Custom Mfg., Inc. was born.

Paul Beavers is the lead gunsmith and technical guru. He has received formal training in gunsmithing from PCDI and has "practiced" on his own weapons for a number of years. When it comes to weapons, his true love is maximum firepower. We will be publishing some video of Paul having a whirl on an M1919 machine gun soon.

Bill Kapeles is in charge of general sales and custom ammunition loading. Bill has been reloading ammunition for over 14 years - a hobby that was a necessity with his appetite for .45 ACP ammo! Combat pistol shooting is one of his favorite activities.
